Software testing services

QA support for products that cannot afford a shaky release.

BugAura Labs provides independent software testing for SaaS products, ecommerce stores, web applications, and agency projects. We investigate the workflows tied to revenue and trust, document each defect clearly, and retest fixes before signoff.

Testing coverage

Use the right depth for the release risk.

A checkout release needs different coverage from an internal dashboard update. We select test types around the failure modes that matter to your product, then show exactly what was checked.

01

Manual testing

Functional, exploratory, usability, and negative-path testing for signup, checkout, subscriptions, dashboards, permissions, forms, and admin workflows.

02

Regression testing

Focused retesting after fixes and broader checks around connected workflows, so a corrected defect does not quietly introduce another one.

03

API testing

Request and response validation, status codes, authentication, role access, error handling, boundary data, and consistency between the interface and API.

04

Security-focused testing

Practical checks for weak validation, exposed errors, broken authorization, unsafe inputs, session behavior, and common web security risks. This is not a replacement for a formal penetration test.

05

Automation support

Repeatable smoke and regression flows using Playwright or Selenium where automation will save meaningful release time, with scenarios chosen for stability and business value.

06

Performance and compatibility

Response-time checks, load awareness, responsive layouts, and cross-browser validation across the devices and environments your customers actually use.

A practical QA partner

Built for teams without a full internal test function.

  • Start with one risky workflowUse the free audit to judge the quality of the findings before buying a larger engagement.
  • Communicate without extra meetingsWork asynchronously through email, Jira, GitHub, or a shared report, with calls when a decision genuinely needs one.
  • Prioritise by business impactRevenue, access control, data integrity, and release blockers come before cosmetic observations.
What you receive

Evidence your developers can act on.

  • 01Test scope and risk map. Clear coverage, environments, assumptions, and exclusions before execution.
  • 02Structured defect records. Reproduction steps, expected and actual results, severity, evidence, and business impact.
  • 03Coverage summary. Passed, failed, blocked, and untested areas collected in one readable view.
  • 04Retest and regression notes. Fix verification plus nearby checks before final release guidance.
Workflow

A small process with clear checkpoints.

You always know what is being tested, what has failed, and what remains uncertain. Scope changes are discussed before additional work begins.

STEP 01

Define the risk

Share the product, release, users, deadline, and the workflow you are least confident about.

STEP 02

Plan coverage

We agree on devices, roles, environments, test data, exclusions, and delivery format.

STEP 03

Test and report

Findings arrive with evidence and priority while testing continues, not as a surprise at the end.

STEP 04

Retest and sign off

Fixes are verified and remaining risks are documented so your team can make the release decision.

Engagements

Start small, expand when the work is useful.

The introductory packages suit early-stage products and focused releases. Larger or specialised scopes are quoted after a short review.

Questions

Before you share access.

A good testing engagement begins with clear boundaries. These are the questions founders and product teams usually ask first.

Can we sign an NDA first?

Yes. An NDA can be signed before credentials, documentation, customer data, or non-public product information are shared.

Do you work with teams outside India?

Yes. BugAura Labs works remotely and supports asynchronous communication across time zones. Your preferred overlap hours are agreed during scoping.

Can you test a product that is still being built?

Yes. Early testing can focus on a staging environment, design acceptance criteria, individual workflows, APIs, or release candidates rather than waiting for the entire product.

What access is required?

Usually a test URL, role-based test accounts, known requirements, supported browsers or devices, and safe test data. Production access is not assumed or requested unless it is necessary and explicitly authorised.

Is security testing a penetration test?

No. Security-focused QA can identify common validation, authentication, authorisation, and information-exposure problems. Formal penetration testing requires a separately agreed specialist scope.
